Whale Automaton
Over the course of three months and made using Cinema4D, ZBrush and Adobe Premiere Pro, this animation remarks on childhood dreams and innocence.The piece was inspired by wooden automations that move with cranks and the ocean theme taken simply because of my interest in it. New techniques such as volumetric lighting and using tags to create a piston-like motion with the automaton was used. The whale and manta rays themselves were modelled and hand-painted in ZBrush. Further textures were applied to the animals and diving helmet using Neil Stubbings painterly texture technique in Cinema4D.Sounds obtained from mixkit.co and Adobe Free Sound Effects Library. Versace Product Video
Filmed using a DSLR camera in the corner of a room, this is a commercial-like video for Versace's perfume Crystal Noir. The video was put together in Adobe After Effects, which included colour correction, time remapping and 3D tracked graphics.Music obtained through Megatrax, and sounds from Fesilyan Studios.
Explainer
Created using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Cinema4D, having incorporated 3D models (flag, ink jar, sheet of paper) into a 2D scene.This explainer focuses on the fact that Belgium hired 37 cats to deliver mail in the 1870's, all within a design referencing an older style.Sounds obtained from Adobe Free Sound Effects Library and mixkit.co.
Letter Build
Following a provided colour palette and strict guidelines such as: letter in the font "Arial Black", necessary giant mushrooms and a whimsical element, this is a 3D build made entirely in Cinema4D.The design carries cottage-like elements to tie into the need for giant mushrooms, and the whimsical element of fireflies from the spore mushroom chimney are used to help make the environment feel like a marsh/dark forest.All sounds from fesliyanstudios.com and Adobe Free Sound Effects Library.
FOX NFL 19 Logo Build
Created using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Cinema4D. This logo build is based on the theme and logo of Fox's NFL 19 branding with the football playing robot, Cleatus.The beginning and end of the logo build are entirely 2D, with the centre piece having been made using the cloner tool and align to spline tag in Cinema4D. The x's and o's mimic a football play being carried out.Sounds obtained from mixkit.co.
Build-o-Rama
First ever Cinema4D project using creative or quick transitions to switch between cubes and a lantern and typewriter.The paper sliding into the typewriter was done using the sweep tool, and the final wrap up of the typewriter into the cube was also the sweep tool, following a really long spline.Music in the background from https://www.FesliyanStudios.com. Did You Know?
A 2D animation made in Adobe After Effects using shape path to morph the koala into a fingerprint.This "did you know?" features the fact that koala's fingerprints are so similar to humans that they are hard to distinguish under a microscope.Music and sounds in the background from https://www.FesliyanStudios.com.
Disturbed Stickers
Created as loopable gifs in After Effects.These stickers were inspired by the metal band Disturbed, and the lyrics/titles of their songs. The style of the stickers are meant to reflect a darker aura with the use of red colours and dark blue hues. The jagged edges are to reflect the bold attitude of metal music.
Motion Title
Created using a long composition in Adobe After Effects to have a continuous path as a story unfolds in the shadows.This motion title is inspired by the 2018 film "Ophelia" directed by Claire McCarthy and one of the movie posters promoting it.Music in the background from https://www.FesliyanStudios.com.
